Noida (Uttar Pradesh) [India] August 31 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath hailed the success of Operation Sindoor and said that BrahMos missiles demonstrated its capability in the cross-border operations.
“I thank the Defence Minister for establishing the BrahMos missile centre in the capital of Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow… Lucknow’s smile was incomplete until the sound of a missile from here reached the enemy’s ears, and now it can be seen in an even better way; recently, in Operation Sindoor, BrahMos has also demonstrated its capability,” Chief Minister Yogi said at an inauguration event of new test facilty of Raphe mPhibr in Noida.

CM Yogi described Operation Sindoor as marking a new chapter in modern warfare and showcasing India’s strength and resolve. “We must draw inspiration from such operations to prepare ourselves for the future,” he added.
Emphasising the need for national strength, CM Yogi stated, “If you have strength, the world will bow before you. When there is coordination between knowledge and weaponry, a nation becomes truly powerful. And when you are powerful, others will seek peace with you.”
Illustrating this, he remarked, “Strength commands respect.” He also invoked the legacy of Maharana Pratap as a symbol of courage and resistance.
Expressing gratitude to Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, CM Yogi highlighted Uttar Pradesh’s growing role in India’s defence manufacturing sector. “Among the two emerging defence hubs in the country, one has been established in Uttar Pradesh,” he said.
He noted that the state government has allocated over 12,500 acres of land for the Defence Manufacturing Corridor across Agra, Aligarh, Jhansi, Chitrakoot, Kanpur, and Lucknow. “Whatever additional land or support is needed, the UP government is committed to providing it,” he assured.
The Chief Minister assured that the Uttar Pradesh government stands ready to provide any land or support required to further strengthen the defence sector. He concluded by reaffirming the state’s unwavering commitment to national security. “Whatever is required for the defence of our nation, the Uttar Pradesh government will provide unwavering support,” he concluded.
